Strategic Plan

Strategic plan for the years: 2020-21 to 2025-26

Keeping in mind the Mission and Vision of the Institute the following Strategic Plan has been formulated.

The Environment:

The Management education scenario has undergone a sea change in the last few decades. Following are key areas of changes witnessed:

  1. Proliferation of MBA Institutions in Maharashtra and in the country.

  2. Increase in students enrolling for higher education in general.

  3. The centralized admission process as regulated by the State Government including written test followed by Group Discussion and Personal interview was followed till 2012. Since then, only written test is being conducted by the competent authority. The Government of Maharashtra has established State Common Entrance Test Cell as per Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act ,2015.

  4. Inviting and attracting grants and sponsorships is challenging.

  5. Need to train students in practical aspects through internships. Attracting students to the class room is a challenge.

Considering the above scenario the plan till 2025-26 is more focused on qualitative aspects rather than quantitative aspects.
